Earlier this month, members of our management team visited the neon city of Las Vegas to attend the United Appliance Servicers Association’s Annual Service Training Institute (ASTI) – a five-day immersion into the cutting-edge realm of appliance repair. This event wasn’t just another conference; it was a gateway to next-level strategies, industry connections, and unparalleled growth opportunities.
ASTI is the crown jewel of appliance repair conferences in North America. With a reputation for excellence, this year’s event drew 860 of the industry’s brightest minds, from top appliance brand executives to visionary local business leaders. We explored topics about specific manufacturer technical training to mastering the art of booking more service calls. ASTI offered much more than just workshops and seminars; it was a vibrant community where ideas flowed freely, and connections were made between industry experts across the U.S.
Our takeaways included insights that ranged from appliance repair marketing to parts inventory management. We heard from the legendary Shawn Moon as he shared his insight from over three decades of experience in leadership and management, sales and marketing, and consulting services.
